Angelica’s passion for family law is deeply rooted in her own life experiences. Having spent different stages of her childhood living with both a single mother and a single father, she gained a unique perspective on the challenges families face during times of transition. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career focused on helping parents and children navigate complex family dynamics with dignity and support. Angelica is driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and believes that thoughtful legal guidance can help families move forward with greater stability and confidence.

Angelica brings extensive family law experience to her practice, having worked in nearly every facet of the field before becoming an attorney. Prior to law school, she worked at the Office of the Attorney General handling child support matters, providing her with an early understanding of the issues that impact families and children. During law school, she continued to build her family law experience as a student practitioner in a family law clinic, a summer associate at a family law firm, and a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Bernadette D’Souza of the Orleans Parish Civil District Court in New Orleans. She also volunteered with Legal Aid of North Texas while preparing for the bar exam, further strengthening her commitment to serving individuals in need of legal assistance.

Angelica approaches each case with empathy, open-mindedness, and a genuine desire to understand her clients’ unique circumstances. She believes family law is about more than legal disputes. It is about helping people through some of the most important and emotional moments of their lives. Clients can expect an attorney who listens carefully, values their perspective, and works collaboratively to find solutions that align with their goals.

Outside of her practice, Angelica enjoys international travel, spending quality time with family and friends, and following college women’s basketball. She is also an avid gamer and recently welcomed a Cockapoo puppy into her life, embracing the joys and challenges of being a first-time dog owner. Faith serves as the foundation of everything she does, guiding both her personal and professional life. Whether through travel, shared meals, music, or meaningful conversations, Angelica values opportunities to connect with others and build lasting relationships, believing that the strongest communities are formed through understanding, connection, and shared experiences.
